If you like sleep- read on!

Mattress Upgrade: So for starters, I’ll tell you guys where we were at before we got our mattress:

Chris and I were/ are trying to juggle two poor sleepers (children) in our two-bedroom house. So Hendricks would be put to sleep in his room and Stella would be put to sleep in our room. When we would go to bed we would pick her up and move her back to her bed. If she woke up in the middle of the night we’d take her back to our bed and bump either Chris or me to the couch. If she didn’t wake up in the middle of the night, when Hendricks would wake up at 5 we’d rush in, grab her, hope she goes back to sleep in our bed, potentially kicking one of us to the couch, which honestly wasn’t a big deal because Chris and I found that the couch quality sleep was the same as our mattress quality 😂. Anyways we called this Musical Beds. Any other parents out there struggling with this? Before this, we had Hendricks’ crib in our room and every night we would pull our mattress into our living room and sleep there. That lasted at least 6 months. During the day our mattress was leaning against a wall. I didn’t think our mattress was ThAt old, but then I did the math and realized it was over a decade old, and if regular wear and tear wasn’t enough having it lean against a wall for 6 months had really created a bit of a sway. Chris and I for the last couple of years have been experimenting with different pillows to get better sleep, I think even after my pregnancy I kept using my snoogle because again, our mattress was lacking so much support.

Retrospectively I think this was the biggest sign that maybe our mattress wasn’t doing the trick. Anyways a couple years later we upgraded to a Haven.

First up, things I love about our Haven that have nothing to do with the quality of sleep: 1. They are a company with a social conscience. So for every 10 mattresses sold, one brand new one gets donated 2. They are Canadian. 🇨🇦 3. They don’t use materials that create off-gassing, I’ll be honest, I didn’t know that was a thing, but obviously doing some research I’m glad that they care about our indoor air quality. 4. They are hypoallergenic, so they don’t use materials that dustmites might love to get into. 5. They don’t use animal products.

Ok into the nitty-gritty. We got the king 14" LUX-2400 Hybrid Springwall Chiropractic 'Classic Plush' It feels like a spa sleep. What even is that you may ask? It’s like when you crawl into your bed and know that you’re being absolutely taken care of. You know that the only thing that may mess up your sleep is coming from the next bedroom over #momlife. Since getting our mattress we still usually end up with an extra kiddo in our bed, but we’ve found that even she is less restless. We are all getting better sleep and I’ve even found that it’s been easier to wake up to my first alarm because my sleep has just been higher quality. I haven’t had to sleep on anything but a haven since we got it, but I’m dreading that day because my mattress standards have skyrocketed. Thank you so much Haven. Your new, forever fan,
